There are a couple of VERY cool features on Realtor.com‘s free real estate search app if you’re house-hunting (or if you’re just nosy). 🙂

My favorite is Street Peek, which lets you point your phone at any property, and the current and past sales/rental information automatically pops up on your screen.

Sign Snap lets you take a photo of a For Sale sign and immediately get all the sales details.

By the way, Realtor.com is the most accurate database for homes listed by Realtors. It’s fed directly from our MLS, and Realtors are fined if they don’t keep their listings updated. Websites such as Trulia and Zillow have a lot of great features, but not all Realtors list with them, and not all agents update their listings like they should. (And don’t get me started on Zillow’s Zestimates!)

If you find a property on Zillow, crosscheck it on Realtor.com to make sure you’re getting the correct details.
